This has been a fascinating topic of our pastors. They’ll talk about so many things starting from how to fast & pray to walking with God.
But, has anyone really understood what they were preaching? God only knows! First of all, have they themselves understood? That also, God only understands!
Now, I’ll tell you how to find out if you are in God’s Will which is really easy and very biblical. More than that you can figure it out with your logical reasoning. This is not to find out what is the God’s Will of your life for which you must read my other articles on this website. What I’m going to say is to find out if you are in God’s Will or not; gone away from it or even slightly deviated from it. This could very well happen in both situations; before finding out your God’s Will or after finding out but deviating knowingly or unknowingly.
If any untoward incident happens in your life, get alerted. This could be because you are away from God’s Will and so, it could be a warning from God or because you are away from God’s Will, you are away from God’s complete protection and so, the devil is trying to devour.
If you are in God’s Will, God promises His total protection. So, when God himself says that He’ll protect us, how can something go wrong. For me, it looks like a simple logic. That’s why I’m reversing the statement and saying that if someone is out of God’s Will, he might be away from God’s complete protection. Hence, if any untoward incident happens, it is better you sit and analyze your life.
God himself may send a warning to correct you; to redirect you towards God’s Will.
There is a classical example in The Bible. “Nineveh”. Jonah was asked to go to Nineveh. But, he flew from his hometown, Gath-Hepher to Tarshish.
Jonah 1:2 (NKJV)
2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.”
Jonah 1:3 (NKJV)
3 But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
